Renowned music composer A.R. Rahman and director-actor S.J. Suryah are joining forces once again for the upcoming Tamil film Killer. The duo, known for their earlier hits like New and Anbe Aaruyire, are expected to deliver yet another memorable collaboration.
The film, which stars Suryah in the lead role, had its official launch (pooja) on June 30. Actress Preethi Asrani, noted for her role in Ayothi, plays the female lead.
This marks Suryah’s return to directing after nearly a decade, following his 2015 film Isai. He previously directed iconic films for top stars such as Ajith and Vijay. His partnership with Rahman, often praised for its musical brilliance, has generated excitement among fans.
Suryah called Rahman "India’s pride" and shared a social media post featuring the composer holding a gun, a possible hint at the film's tone.
