The Mirny Diamond Mine is 525m deep
The Mirny Diamond Mine is 525m deep and has a diameter of 1200m. It was the first, and one of the largest, diamond Pipes in the USSR. It is now abandoned. While it was still operational, it would take two hours for trucks to drive from the top to the bottom of the mine.

Krupp Digging Machine - World's Largest Digging Machine
This is the largest digging machine (or trencher or rotating shovel) in the world. It was built by Krupp and is shown here crossing a road in Germany on the way to its destination, an open air coal mine. Although at the mine the treads are unnecessary, it was cheaper to make the machine self-propelled than to try and move it with conventional hauling equipment. The machine is 95 meters high and 215 meters long (almost 2.5 football fields in length). Weight is 45,500 tons (that's equivalent to a bumper to bumper line of jeeps 80 miles long). It took 5 years to design and manufacture at a cost of $100 million.

World's Smallest Poisonous Frog
He is less than a centimeter long and is gripping for all its worth to the tip of a pencil. But don't be fooled by the size of this baby ‘poison dart' frog, its skin is 200 times more toxic than morphine. The frogs, among the most poisonous amphibians on the planet, are found only in the wild on the western slopes of the Andes in Ecuador, South America. But now dozens of the rare species have been bred at the Blue Reef Aquarium in Portsmouth, Hampshire. When adult, they turn bright red with three usually greenish fluorescent stripes, but grow to only a centimeter in length.
Rajini getting serious on 'Baasha-2'
As nobody, neither Rajini nor RM Veerappan, denied the developments everyone believed in the making of ‘Baasha-2’. Now with another buzz coming in, it is almost certain that Rajini's next film will be ‘Baasha-2’ produced by Sathya Movies.
Sources say that Rajini before embarking on his spiritual journey to the Himalayas went and met RM Veerappan discussed the project. Rajini is said to have told Sathya Movies to get the script ready and if the script is ready by the time he returns he will immediately take up the project.
These very positive signs have put Sathya Movies in top gear after almost 20 years. ‘Baasha’ was the last film produced by Sathya Movies after which it was lying low. Now with Rajini backing up the revival of the legendary banner is imminent.
