A grapevine in Kollywood tells us that it is the actor – director S J Suriyah, who is ready to hire the Bollywood bombshell for his movie, Isai. It seems as if S J Suriyah himself is going to play the lead role in his directorial, and also, is going to compose the music for the movie too.

The grapevine adds that the New star has taken himself into the ways of composing after A R Rahman did not turn up to him to compose the music for Isai. For your information, A R Rahman was S J Suriyah’s favorite recruitment in the music department for his movies, and the duo has produced some unforgettable chartbusters with the movies like Vaali, New and Anbe Aaruyire. Coming to the Kareena Kapoor, it seems as if she has agreed readily to play an item number in Isai, as soon as S J Suriyah approached her. However, she has put some condition that she would play the song only if the music satisfies her. Hence, S J Suriyah is working hard on the music of Isai, which, as the name goes by, is of musical genre.

KV ANAND WANTS NO WORD OUT ABOUT MATRAAN

Director KV Anand seems to be fiercely protective about Matraan as he does not want any detail about the film leaked. When Editor Anthony had said that the film is good but he does not want to give any double build-up, KV Anand immediately requested him not to disclose anything.

Choreographer-turned-Actor-turned-Director Prabhudeva’s Birthday is on 3rd April. This year, he celebrated his Birthday in a grand manner by inviting his friends in the film industry.

Actress Trisha also participated in this celebration. Post the participation in his Birthday bash, Trisha decided to give an unexpected present to Prabhudeva.

Trisha shared her wishes to Prabhudeva on her Twitter account and shared a joint picture of them in that Party. She reminded the deed done by Prabhudeva of casting her in his debut film in Telugu named “Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana” (2005). It featured Siddharth and Trisha, and turned out to be the Trisha’s biggest Hits in Tollywood.

‘Aravaan’ heroine to wed?

Archana Kavi is laughing at media reports, which suggested that she was set to marry soon. “I request those spreading this rumour to find out a suitable guy for me,” says the ‘Aravaan’ girl.

“I am yet to come across my kind of man. Even if I do so in the near future, I will take some three to four years to enter wedlock. So there is no question of me marrying someone soon,” she explains.

Saying that reports were being written in some sections of the media without bothering about verifying the facts, Archana says, “The worst part is that my wedding date was also published without any confirmation.”

The actress says she is game to do more interesting roles, like the one she did in ‘Aravaan’. “My focus at present is on cinema and nothing else,” she concludes.

The rights of Thuppaki have been sold for a huge sum to Gemini Films Circuit, say sources. This Vijay starrer has fetched huge price even before the shooting is completed. The team is currently shooting the song sequences after which the post production work will begin.

AR Murugadoss and Vijay are joining hands for the first time with Thuppaki and therefore the expectations on this film are high. With Gemini laying their hands on the rights, this expectation level has gone up even further, we must add.

WHY DID AMALA CREATE A SCENE?

Up and coming Amala Paul is largely away from the vicious claws of controversies. However, a recent incident happened in a hotel abroad where she was invited to perform for a film function, seems to suggest differently. After reaching the hotel, where she was put up in, Amala refused to go to the venue of the function according to organizers.

She started shouting at the organizers and created a scene owing to some payment issues and insisted that she be paid before the event. The organizers refused to do so and the scene went on for a long time before she was pacified by both the sides and brought to the event.

Harris Jayaraj confirms Maatran audio in July

One of the most eagerly awaited audios is Suriya’s KV Anand directed Maatran which has music by Harris Jayaraj.

Remember the last time the trio of Suriya-Harris-Anand came together in Ayan, the film and music went on to become a blockbuster.

Today (July 2) Harris Jayaraj has tweeted – “Final mixing for the songs of Maatran on process. Album will be out by this month. Good day!” It clearly means Maatran due for release on August 15, is on schedule.

A few weeks back we had reported that Sony Music has taken the audio rights of Maatran produced by AGS Entertainments at a record price.

The buzz is that a few days of shoot has to be completed and the film due to its graphics may take time over post-production and release may happen only in September.

Here’s some good news for Thala Ajith fans. The ‘Billa 2′ music album will soon have a value addition, in terms of a new song!

“A special song was kept under the wraps so far. It will be launched soon as a prelude to the film’s release. The number by Yuvan Shankar Raja will be a treat to Ajith’s fans and music lovers,” say sources.

Earlier, the strategy was adopted by Mani Ratnam, who launched ‘Endrendrum Punnagai…’ as a separate track after the official audio launch of ‘Alaipayudhe’.

Sunir Kheterpal the Producer officially announced that ‘Ajith’s Billa 2 will release in 1200 plus screens worldwide on 13 July.

The shooting of the movie took place for a sum of 103 days across Hyderabad, Vizag, Goa, Mumbai, Kashid and Gerogia.

Also Billa 2 will lead 1st position breaking down all previous records with a score of 1200 plus screens worldwide.
