Deiva Thirumagal to release big on July 1!
Currently the film is in the final process of getting ready for its censor. The censor officials are going to watch the film by June 20. As per the trade buffs it is known that the film is expected to release worldwide on Friday July 1st. Deiva Thirumagal is going to open big with maximum number of screens and is will take a bumper opening as Vikram has good market.
UTV Motion Pictures has planned to release the Deiva Thirumagal in 400 to 500 screens across the country, including all multiplexes in all metros. The promotion by UTV will boost up the openings and all popular big screens in Tamilnadu will show Deiva Thirumagal as there is no competition until Mankatha or Velayudham releases in August.
This is a very good planning done by UTV as there are no other big films to hit the screens for nearly one month.
Velayudham audio launch on July 5 + Track List
Here we bring you the confirmed date of much awaited audio of the season vijay’s Velayudham. For the past couple of months we hearing different dates of the audio release but the latest confirmed date of the audio launch is July 5th, 2011.
We know how Vijay’s fans are eagerly waiting to listen to the songs of Velayudham. But we have to still wait for two more weeks to listen to the music composed by Vijay Anthony. It is well known that Vijay’s audio will be a treat for all sections of music lovers as it has a mass number, melody, kuthu song, folk song and breezy romantic number. Vijay Anthony has given seven songs including a theme song.
All the songs in the album are peppy and dancing numbers where one cant control his dancing skills. Out of the seven songs Sonna Puriadhu Sollukkul Adangadhu is the intro song of Vijay which was shot with a budget of Rs 2 crore.

Veppam release on June 24
Gautham Menon’s forthcoming production venture Veppam is now confirmed to hit the screens on June 24th, 2011. Veppam is a bilingual, being made in Telugu as Sega and both the versions are releasing on the same day.
Veppam stars Telugu hero Naani is doing the lead role while Nithya Menon plays the role of his love interest. Tollywood actress Bindu Madhavi is playing the character of a call girl in this film and Evam Karthik Kumar play a pivotal role in the film. Gautham’s former associate Anjana Ali Khan has directed the film hard-hitting movie based on slums in Chennai.
Veppam is based on the Chennai Municipal and slightly looks like Bollywood film Slumdog Millionaire.
Joshua Sridhar has rendered the music which topped the charts. Cinematography and editing is handled by Om Prakash and Vijay Anthony respectively.
Gautham Menon has produced the film under his production banner Photon Kathaas.

Karthi’s next??
The second and the best thing is that he will be entering wedlock with Ranjani Chinnasamy on July 3rd at Coimbatore by breaking the hearts of his female fans. The third one is his forthcoming Saguni directed by debutant Shankar Dayal and the last we heard is that Karthi will be doing his next project with director Rajesh after completing Saguni.
Now latest grapevine is abuzz that Karthi will be acting under Gautham Menon’s direction. It is known that after the duo complete their prior accomplishments they will join hands with this yet-to-be-titled project. Sources in eth know how say that Gautham has narrated the script to Karthi and the actor is very impressed with the theme. Karthi has given his nod immediately and currently Gautham is in hunt for a producer.
We need to wait and see whether Gautham will repeat the magic with Karthi, as he has given outstanding films for his brother Suriya. Only time will enlighten the story.

Velayudham shooting at Thiruvananthapuram
We have mentioned enough number of times of Vijay’s Velayudham but still it carries something interesting. Currently the film is on the heels of completion.
According to the sources it is known that the shoot of the film is going at a huge stadium in Thiruvananthapuram. Director Jayam Raja is canning some important scenes involved several thousand junior artistes. The team also wrapped up climax scenes in Chennai recently. Vijay is going to coming out with a different and unique look in this film. Genelia and Hansika Motwani are playing the female leads opposite Vijay. The final mixing of the audio is going on in New York and the CD printing process is already in progress. The audio will be out in stores in July.
After finishing the stunt scenes at the stadium, the crew will be flying to abroad to shot one song. With the shoot of the song the film gets completed.
Velayudham is a masala film filled with all right ingredients in right ratio for a block buster hit.
Venkat Prabhu’s next?
Sona Heiden who shot to fame as Vadivelu’s wife in the Rajinikanth starrer Kuselan is all set to produce a film with Mankatha director Venkat Prabhu.
The actress is producing the film under her production house Uniq Productions. Her earlier production venture was Kanimozhi which has Jai and Shazahn Padamsee doing the lead roles. Though she has done extensive promotion the film went on to be a box office disaster. This has made Sona upset and in fact she faced loss in crores with this film. Now she is all geared up to do a film with Venkat Prabhu which will start his principle photography after the completion of Mankatha.
Sona is currently doing an important role in Mankatha. The cast and crew of the film are yet to be finalized but the groundwork is now going on in spite of Venkat Prabhu being busy with the post production works of Mankatha.
The actress-producer-entrepreneur is currently producing a film titled Bhagyaraj 2010 apart from playing the female lead. Premji Amaren brother of Venkat Prabhu is playing the main lead.
Maatran’s musical moves
The Ayan team of KV Anand and Suriya are back with Maatran, to be produced by AGS Entertainment.
It will be an all-out action entertainer with Kajal Aggarwal playing the female lead.

The buzz is that the duo who has composed the music of Ayan and Ko in exotic foreign locations, is going to Nigeria for a musical sitting.
The shoot of Maatran will start July end, and normally like director Shankar Anand will start his shoot with a song picturisation.
Let us hope Anand-Harris combination will come out with some peppy numbers for Maatran.

Jeeva plays Bakthi Pazham in Nanban
His films Nanban, Vanthaan Vendran and Rowthiram are going to release in different intervals by the end of December. Jeeva has almost wrapped up Rowthiram and only few portions of the film is left while his film Vanthaan Vendran has been completed and the audio release is all set to take place on June 12. His next film Nanban directed by Shankar is moving on a brisk pace and the shoot is going in and around Chennai.
Among all the three idiots Jeeva plays a funny role of Bakthi Pazham. His role will be one of the highlighting factors which bring loads of laughter riot in the film.
It looks like Jeeva is trying for a hat trick this year.
