Santhanam busy!

Can you guess who is the busiest comedian in Kollywood? It is none than Santhanam who is riding high in Kollywood. The scenario is that there is no film coming out without his appearance. One will really be surprised by knowing the projects in his kitty.

Santhanam so far has signed 15 films in Tamil, which is an awe struck number. He committed his dates for all these films and turned as most wanted comedian in Kollywood. He is sharing the screens space with all leading stars like Vijay in Velayudham, Udhayanidhi Stalin in Oru Kal Oru Kannadi, Jeeva in Vanthaan Vendraan, Simbu in Vettai Mannan, Bharath in Yuvan Yuvathi, Vikram in Deiva Thirumagal, Shanthnoo’s Kanden and in Muppozhudhum Un Karpanaigal with Adharvaa. His other films were Leelai, Vaalu, Kalla Sirippazhaga, Aandavan Kattalai, Agam Ariya Aaval, Indirasena and Vellore Maavattam.

It can be noted here that the rise of his popularity made his call sheet costly. In fact, Santhanam is paid by all standards and his rate card has been changed recently.

His remuneration is Rs 30 lakhs per film for just 15 days of his work. If by chance the film gets delayed or needs more dates, he will be paid Rs 5 lakh per day.

Is Santhanam not the most wanted comedian in Kollywood? Undoubtedly he is the most wanted and much in demand by our filmmakers.

Mankatha’s audio will be unveiled very soon but meanwhile the filmmakers planned of releasing a single track of the film. So the time has come, the single track CD of Mankatha is releasing shortly.

Mankatha Single CD Special edition is attached with an amazing poster and also with Thala Ajith’s autograph. Is there anything else needed other than this, all the fans will be happy to see Thala’s latest poster along with his autograph, which is a very rare chance they get to have his autograph. In fact the talented director Venkat Prabhu is all set to introduce some innovation in launching his audio through the single track.

It was Ajith’s introduction song in the film which has been released today. The song is sure going to turn as ring tones and caller tunes among all the music lovers. The same intro song which was released as a teaser trailer has created waves on the net during last week.

That single song is sure to create an impact. The entire team of Mankatha is expecting that the intro song is going to rock. Let’s wait guys for our turn to rejoice.

Madhavan positive about Vettai

Lingusamy’s Vettai is going to be a perfect launch pad for the second time for Madhavan. He is playing the role of a cop in the film and his character in this action-adventure will be loved by all his fans.

Madhavan says “I love my role in Vettai and director Lingusamy always trusts strong scripts and this is the reason for his success track so far. Arya my co star is a nice guy and we have hell lot of fun during shooting. Vettai is really shaping well and even after eight long years I find my director the same who is a thorough professional”.

The film is currently shooting in Pondicherry and recently an action sequence was shot in

Pondicherry University sports complex with Arya and Madhavan. Madhavan was spotted in a wheel chair for one particular scene. Lingusamy is further planning to shoot the film in Tirunelveli and Thoothukudi.

Vettai features Madhavan, Arya, Sameera Reddy and Amala Paul in the lead roles.

Two songs of Vijay’s Velayudham

We have earlier reported that the introduction song of Vijay was shot in a grand and elegant set which was erected with a cost of Rs 2 crore. The intro song starting lines are Sonna puriadhu….Sollukkul Adangaadhu…The lyrics of this song describe the bonding between Vijay and his fans while Vijay Anthony has given peppy music and It will be a colorful song.

The other song is the duet between Vijay and Hansika which was recently shot. The duet goes this way Mayakkiputta ennai Mayakkiputta…….this song is surely going to be remembered for a long time.

Jayam Raja is directing this mass masala entertainer while V Ravichandran of Aascar Films is producing it.
