VISHWAROOPAM GETS CLEARANCE FROM THE CM
The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalitha convened a press meet today to make her stand on the Vishwaroopam clear. The CM said that she has no personal vendetta against Kamal or his film and such reports are totally baseless. Adding that she banned the film in the interest of the state as there was every possibility of the law and order situation going haywire, Jayalalitha said that she would consider revoking the ban if Kamal and the Muslim group leaders come to a settlement.

Hansika to continue on the OKOK route
After the success of Oru Kal Oru Kannadi, heroine Hansika was noted for her cute comedy timing replete with spontaneous reactions and her bubbly smile. In the forthcoming Singam 2 as well, her comic side would be positioned to the fore, by director Hari.
For her next movie with Sundar C, titled Theeya Velaseiyanum Kumaru, Hansika is really enjoying herself during the shoots thanks to the healthy comedy in the movie, it seems. She feels that her fans would also have a whale of a time seeing the movie.
In future too, she says that she would give prominence to films which position her jovial side rather than play the mere glam doll who runs around trees with a big star.

Nayanthara turns down Shahrukh Khan...
Nayanthara was recently approached by acclaimed Bollywood director Rohit Shetty to find out if she can partake in a racy item number in his new film Chennai Express, starring Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone in the lead. A lot of Tamil actors are already a part of this film, it must be noted.
But the actress politely refused the offer despite being offered a huge amount for the same. She is currently busy doing lead roles in big films down South in languages like Tamil and Telugu. We have to see for how long she resists Bollywood given her soaring popularity in the South.
