Official: Selvaraghavan & Sonia Aggarwal files for DIVORCE
Selvaraghavan and Sonia Aggarwal drove down in separate cars to the Family Welfare Court in Egmore, Chennai and applied for a divorce by mutual consent. They have cited incompatibility as the reason for seeking the divorce.
Sonia Aggarwal acted in 3 of Selva’s movies Kadhal Kondein, 7 G Rainbow Colony and Pudupettai before she tied the knot with the director in style on December 15, 2006 at Rajah Muthiah Chettiyar Hall in Egmore, Chennai in the presence of ‘Super Star’ Rajinikanth.
According to reports sources, couple had been drifting apart during the last one year ever since the rumours started making rounds that Selvaraghavan is close with Andrea Jermiah who is one of lead in his Ayirathil Oruvan movie. It is even rumoured that Sonia who visited Selva on the sets of Aayirathil Oruvan is said to have warned Andrea to keep distance from her husband.
It seems for the last few weeks, they have been living separately. They realized that the marriage was heading nowhere and did not want a messy separation, hence applied for divorce by mutual consent.

Chiyaan Vikram ready for 24
Followed by the grand success of ‘Kanthaswamy’, actor Vikram has signed the deal with director Vikram K Kumar of ‘Yaavarum Nalam’ fame. Although, the filmmaker had revealed about commencing his sequel to ‘YN’, he didn’t speak about this film, as script works were pending.But now, it has been confirmed that both of them will be joining hands together for ‘24′ (Irupathi Naangu) produced by Mohan Natarajan. According to Vikram Kumar, he has assured that it will be a new-fangled film in Indian film industry.
‘24′ is expected to be an edge of the seat thriller with unexpected twists and turns. Tollywood’s voluptuous Ileana will be starring opposite Vikram in female lead and rest of the star-cast is yet to be confirmed.
Harris Jayaraj will be tuning melodies, while P.C. Sriram cranks the camera. The film will start rolling once Vikram completes his schedule for Manirathnam’s ‘Raavan’ by November.

TR back with Oruthalai Kadhal
Oruthalai Ragam began T. Rajendar's entry into Kollywood. As an unknown entity, TR, as he is popularly known, had to release the movie on his own when he found no takers. When the movie ran for one year, TR became a household name.Naturally, Tr is fond of the 'Kadhal' title and his next venture is titled Oruthalai Kadhal featuring himself in the robust character of a folk artiste. As is his wont, TR is introducing five new faces: three boys and two girls.
Deviating from the formula of lavish sets for songs, TR plans to can the songs in locales showcasing the village flavour. The script does not demand that but the end product will not fall short of the expected flavour, says TR with conviction coming from years of experience.
Oruthalai Kadhal is jointly produced by Kural TV Creations and Simbhu Cine Arts.

Action and adventure in the jungle for a Forest guard and his female cadets!
Born in a tribal community in a remote forest, the film’s protagonist (Jeyam Ravi) has grown up to become a college-educated Forest Guard working for the Indian government’s Forest Department. He is also a reputed Trekking Trainer for the National Cadets Corps. In a routine training program for the NCC – Girls’ Wing, he selects five promising recruits and takes them trekking deep into the jungle. When the girls express their wish to stay back one night in the jungle, he agrees, but things take a sinister turn when the girls spot two suspicious-looking strangers. They alert the hero and together they discover a team of 16 foreign intruders armed with modern weapons. The hero guesses what they’re up to and, along with the girls, must come up with a plan to defeat these deadly enemies.
It’s a high-octane action flick that’s packed with thrills.
