Superhero films demand a costume that leaves a lasting impression among audience, that convinces them that the actor is a superhero and knows what he’s doing on big screen. Mysskin is helming Mugamoodi with Jiiva which he claims will suit the preferences of Tamil and Indian audiences and not be in the lines of Superman and Batman.
Speaking about Jiiva’s costume in the film he says, “I traveled to 4 countries to finalize on Jiiva’s costume and finally zeroed in on Hong Kong. A team there worked on Jiiva’s costume for 5 months! The costume is made of 6 materials, in fact, one can’t wear it even for ten minutes at a stretch as it will be really hot”, starts off Mysskin. “It was of course difficult for Jiiva to don this costume but he took all the pains for the character”, he says.
Jiiva’s Mugamoodi is taking shape in a fast pace. The film starring Jiiva, Pooja Hegde and Narain is helmed by Mysskin and produced by UTV Motion Pictures. The film has a good dosage of stunts, martial arts, by Tony who worked with Bruce Lee in ‘Enter The Dragon’.
