7am Arivu audio in 30 days

Suriya’s 7am Arivu for all his fans and for those who are keenly waiting. Now we are back with the audio release date of the film. We have mentioned enough number of times regarding the audio release the filmmakers have postponed it due to some official problems.

But now the audio release date is confirmed by the films music director Harris Jayraj. Harris confessed in his microblogging site that 7aam Arivu audio launch is going to take place exactly in 30 days. It means the audio is all set to hit the stores on or before July 8th, 2011. The album has total of 6 songs including a Chinese track. The Chinese song is the special attraction of the album which was sung by mandarin singer Hau. This particular song has sounds dating back to more than 2,000 years. Interesting isn’t it.

The audio launch will take place in a grand manner and the venue is expected to be Nehru Stadium. Suriya will be performing nearly 10 astonishing feats live on stage along with some trained circus artistes which will be a special attraction of the audio launch.

Shruthi Haasan is playing as the female lead opposite Suriya in the film. 7aam Arivu is directed by A R Murugadoss and produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin on Red Giant Movies banner.

Sonu Sood’s top priority is Rajini’s Rana

One of the busiest baddie in south film industry is Sonu Sood. Though he is making his career in Bollywood but he shot fame in South with his awestruck and outstanding performance.

Sonu Sood has turned as every filmmaker choice in south cinema. Its not known to many that it was Sonu Sood who was the first actor signed to play the villain role in Rana when the film was planned. Ever since he did a cameo fight scene with the superstar in Chandramukhi the bonding between have turned stronger.

Sonu Sood in a recently given interview to a newspaper said “Superstar is recovering right now and whenever he is back from his rest we will be starting the shoot of Rana. I had a talk with Rajini’s close family members and there is nothing to worry about his health. I will be giving my priority dates to Rana when the shoot starts”.

By shedding more lights Sonu adds “I have already informed all my producers that whenever Rana starts my dates are needed for the film. I will be moving to Rana by dropping everything”.

Well, we wish that Rajini to be back in the sets of Rana and start the shoot after taking complete rest.

Mynaa Will Fly To Bollywood Laterlate

Prabhu Solomon became esteemed filmmaker with his magnum opus ‘Mynaa’ that left the entire Kollywood in astonishment. The filmmaker won incredible laurels and indeed his fabulous showpiece won him ticket to Bollywood. Yup! Prabhu Solomon will soon remake the film ‘Mynaa’ in Hindi with some changes in the script.

There were buzzes that he is gonna kick-start the shooting by end of this month. But Prabhu Solomon has clearly affirmed that he will have to first work over a Tamil project and later go for the remake.

The shooting of his untitled Tamil film will soon go on floors and Prabhu Solomon is planning to film the project across the backdrops of forests and Hill Mountains.

Hugely Popular Actor Talks in an Exclusive Interview With PETA About Her Love for the Street Dog She Adopted

Mumbai – Many people would say that Trisha Krishnan has been blessed with the looks of an angel. But now, the award-winning actor is asking her legions of fans to be angels. That’s because Krishnan has shot a brand-new ad for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) India in which she appears with a rescued dog named Bambi. As a puppy on the streets, Bambi was tormented by a mob of schoolboys before being rescued by a passing motorist. The ad reads, “Be an Angel: Adopt a Homeless Dog”, encouraging people to adopt a dog from an animal shelter or the streets. It was shot by ace photographer G Venket Ram. Trisha’s ad for PETA has been launched as a cover story in Galatta’s June 2011 issue.

In an exclusive PETA interview, Krishnan tells the heartwarming story of how she rescued her own dog, Cadbury. “I found him … in Hyderabad [while] I was shooting for a film”, says Krishnan, who starred in the 2010 mega-hit Namo Venkatesa and also won the 2010 NDTV Southern Star of the Year Award. “[W]e were just driving past, and we saw this small little puppy who was wounded … and he couldn’t walk, and he was lying in the rain.” After Cadbury received medical care, he spent every day with Krishnan on the set. “There was no looking back”, says Krishnan. “He came back home with me … and he is like the son I never had.”

Across India, stray dogs and cats struggle to survive on the streets. Many of them starve to death or are injured, hit by vehicles or abused. Countless others are left to languish in animal shelters because there aren’t enough good homes for them. PETA and Krishnan want people to know that they can bring joy into the life of a homeless dog or cat – and into their own lives – by adopting a lovable and loving homeless animal. And, in order to take a bite out of the homeless animal crisis, PETA encourages everyone to have their animal companions sterilised.

Vijay Requests Fans On His Birthday

While Ilaya Thalapathi’s fans all over the state are gearing up with enthusiasm as the star’s birthday falls on June 22, Vijay has something else to say.

Vijay sent out a press note asking fans not to celebrate his birthday in a grand manner and hype about it but rather do good deeds, help the poor and students.

Fans were overwhelmed by this and decided to proceed as per Vijay’s words and chose to do good throughout June. In fact, in a day’s time, ten of his fan clubs had distributed note books to children in North Chennai and clothes to the poor. Not just that, they also provided computers to ten top-ranking Government school tots.

While fans are busy doing nice things and trying to uplift the society, Vijay’s father announced that on his son’s birthday, we will witness good deeds that will be completely unexpected. We wonder what that will be.

Vijay’s birthday falls on June 22nd and his fans usually celebrate it in a grand manner. But this year, Vijay requested them to refrain from lavish celebrations and to do their best to help the poor and needy. His fans took his message to heart and spent the entire month raising money for charitable causes.

Fan clubs across the length and breadth of the state did their best to help the downtrodden in their respective areas. Consequently, notebooks, textbooks, uniforms, school bags, stationary items, sairs, dhotis were distributed free of cost to those who needed them in the locality of various fan clubs. Top ten ranked students from a Government school were gifted with computers by Vijay Makkal Iyakkam leader, SA Chandrasekar.

Bhavana to marry after 2 years

“I will not think about my marriage for the next two years,” says Bhavana, the ‘Aasal’ and ‘Jayam Kondaan’ girl, adding that she would concentrate fully on her acting career in the coming months.

The actress, who is currently part of two movies in Malayalam, says she is eagerly looking forward for offers from Kollywood. “But the story and my character should be good,” she says.

Known for bonding well with co-stars, Bhavana says, “It’s my nature to make friends. I have always been a close buddy to many because I value friendship a lot than anything else.”

Recalling her experience working with Ajith in ‘Aasal’, she says, “I had a nice time shooting with him. Despite his status, Ajith is so down to earth and this makes everyone to admire him.”

Will Rahman join Kathir?

Director Kathir is well known for his musical and feel-good- movies is coming back after a gap of nine long years with Kodai Vidumurai. The film was launched on Monday (6 June) in a simple manner.

The director has given many hits like Idhayam, Uzhavan, Kadhal Desam, Kadhalar Dinam and Kadhal Virus. Right from his second flick Kathir started pairing up with Rahman and ever since the music for all his movies have been composed by Rahman.

Now the big question is that whether Kathir will rope in AR Rahman to score music for the film or not?

But there is no confirmation from ARR whether he will score the music for Kodai Vidumurai as he didn’t sign the film yet. Meanwhile Kathir is making his best efforts to make this reappearance with the ace music composer. Surprisingly the director has announced that there is no Kathir without a Rahman during the movie launch. So this strongly proves that AR Rahman will be joining Kathir.

Srikanth will play protagonist for this movie.

We hope that Kathir will join Oscar winning music director to create the old magic.

Good news for Rajini fans!

Rajini fans can rejoice now. Rajinikanth is currently in Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre in Singapore and his condition has improved. He has responded well to treatment and no longer needs dialysis. Doctors have decided to discharge him soon. Once out of the hospital, Rajini will stay on in Singapore for a period of convalescence.

There is even better news as he will be reporting back on the sets of Rana in September. In his absence, portions of the film with Deepika and Sonu Sood will be shot in August. Also doctors have forbade Rajini from doing strenuous action sequences, so director KS Ravikumar has to make certain changes regarding how the action scenes will be filmed.

Fans can breathe easy now, as Rajini is perfectly fine and will be back to rock our worlds soon.

Avan Ivan confirmed for June 17

Finally Bala’s eagerly awaited Avan Ivan has confirmed its release date as June 17.

The written and directed by Bala, is his first film in the comedy genre. It stars Arya, Vishal , Janani Iyer, and Madhu Shalini in the lead roles.

Recently Bala said: “This is not my film, but it belongs to Vishal and Arya. When Vishal’s parents watched the film, they were so touched. Arya’s dad laughed a lot”.

The producers of the film AGS Entertainment’s Kalpathi S Aghoram has issued ads in today’s newspaper with release date as June 17 and also carries theatre listing.

The Telugu dubbed version of the film titled Vaadu Veedu, will also release simultaneously with the Tamil original.

My Fans will enjoy Mankatha: Ajith

The unit of Mankatha including Ajith Kumar, director Venkat Prabhu and the rest of the cast are very much confident about the final product of the film. Director Venkat Prabhu is busy shooting the remaining scenes and climax of Mankatha in the outskirts of Hyderabad.

Abhimanyu Singh arrested our senses with his atrociously shaded character in Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘Velayudham’. One could feel the realistic flavor of a typical baddie exerted by his performance. The actor has now become the favorite of filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma as he has signed him for couple of more movies.

His upcoming Hindi film will feature him in a positive role while the Telugu movie ‘Bezawada Rowdylu’ delineates him as a notorious thug, who kills his own brother for the sake of gaining power.

The actor is very much excited about his debut in Kollywood through the film ‘Velayudham’. The actor says that he has been an ardent buff of Tamil films for it boasts of different genres. Abhimanyu Singh performs villain role opposite Vijay and has a meaty role to strike with.

Samuthirakani`s next??

Samuthirakani`s next film with Sasikumar, titled Poraali, has begun in a silent manner. The first schedule which was going on in Theni has been completed smoothly. The next leg of the film is to commence immediately.

The entire unit, according to reports, recently camped at a location near VGP for the shoot. A fight sequence and a pivotal scene in the film are currently being filmed.

Samuthirakani and Sasikumar have great chemistry while working together (Subramanyapuram, Nadodigal and Eesan) and they are working hard to replicate the success of some of their earlier films.

There are a plenty of fresh faces acting in the film. Initially it was rumoured Trisha might act. Later the name of Anjali was doing rounds. But now sources say the Subramanyapuram girl Swathi has got the favour.

Lingusamy’s Vettai updates

The first look of director Lingusamy’s Vettai is out and by seeing the posters one can easily guess that the film is a complete entertainer. Currently the director is busy canning important scenes of the film.

Vettai has a galaxy of stars like Madhavan, Arya, Sameera Reddy and Amala Paul. Lingusamy has designed each and every character in a different and unique way by giving equal importance. Maddy has astonished the director with his awestruck performance while Arya completely offered himself to Lingusamy. Not only with the male leads but the twin women characters Sameera Reddy and Amala Paul also gave their 100 percent performance in the film. The leading ladies are coupled with glamour and enormous acting skills.

Vettai has a sensitive story which describes the relation between two brothers and Lingusamy has added some pleasant breezy romance scenes as well as some bold and thrashing stunt scenes.

The director has brought his favorite technical team comprises of Antony for editing, Nirav Shah for cinematography, Na. Muthukumar for lyrics and others.

Rana shoot to begin in August?

According to latest reports, the shooting of superstar Rajinikanth’s much awaited Rana, which has been postponed due to his health condition, will resume in August. Superstar Rajinikanth (aged 60) flew to Singapore recently for further treatment after being discharged from the Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre for respiratory infection and other problems.

In Rana, Rajni will appear in three different avatars and Deepika Padukone is one of his leading ladies. The film, which will be shot in London and Chennai, is expected to be shot in about 220 days.

Music director A.R. Rahman has already started composing the songs and as usual, the legendary SPB will croon Rajni’s intro song in the film. Rana will have six songs and Rajni’s daughter Soundarya will take care of the CG and technical aspects in the film.

Kalavadiya Pozhudugal – A different love story

Prabhu Deva’s much awaited Kalavadiya Pozhudugal, directed by Thangar Bachan, will not have any dance and fight sequences. Based on a novel written by Thangar Bachan, this film is reportedly a realistic love story that features four characters played by Prabhu Deva, Prakashraj, Bhumika and Inbanila.

Prabhu Deva will play the role of a cab driver and will appear in three get ups. Kalavadiya Pozhudugal is expected to grace theatres in August.

The film is produced by K. Karunamoorthy and C. Arunpandian under Ayngaran International banner. Music is composed by Bharadwaj while Vairamuthu has penned the lyrics. Sathyaraj makes a cameo appearance of ten minutes in the movie, but guess what? He comes as Periyar again! The actor played a stupendous role in Periyar and was applauded by critics and audiences alike!

7am Arivu, Mankatha To Race In Kollywood

Ajith’s much awaited Mankatha directed by Venkat Prabhu is all set to grace theatres in July. Meanwhile, the latest buzz is that A.R. Murugadoss’ 7Aum Arivu, starring Suriya and Shruti Haasan in the lead roles, is also likely to hit screens on the same day.

Mankatha, which is Ajith’s 50th film, has a huge star cast, which includes Trisha, Arjun, Lakshmi Rai, Anjali, Premji, Ashwin, Vaibhav, Mahant, Anjali, Andrea and others. Cloud Nine Movies has produced this action thriller which is rumoured to narrate the story of match-fixing sagas in international cricket matches.

Murugadoss’ 7Aum Arivu, produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin, has a science fiction plot and the director has already assured that the film will be a never-seen-before story in Kollywood. The technical team includes Harris Jayaraj (music), Ravi K. Chandran (cinematography) and Anthony Gonsalves (editing). The film is based on the life of a circus artiste and Suriya plays the role of a trapeze artiste cum animal trainer. Sources reveal that Suriya will be seen in a dual role, playing a contemporary character in one scene and another (through flashback) in a previous birth.

So this July get ready for the biggest clash at the box office!

Vijaykanth’s younger son to become a hero

Leader of the DMDK, Vijaykanth’s younger son, Shanmuga Pandian has decided to take up acting like his father. Vijaykanth and Premalatha’s elder son, Prabhakaran is doing his engineering degree at SRM. Shanmuga Pandian has completed the XII standard examinations and has made up his mind about his career.

The parents couldn’t be prouder and they are grooming him so that he can have a proper launch. His mother is looking at scripts by the dozen trying to find the ideal launch pad for Shanmuga Pandian. The youngster is also taking dance lessons and martial arts classes so that he can specialize in action like his father.
