There is nothing special about Kajal Agarwal, says Vijay

When a reporter asked Vijay about the chemistry he shares with Kajal Agarwal in Thuppaki, the Ilayathalapathy said that there is no such thing. He added that that they have been enacting what director AR Murugadoss instructs them to do.

It may be mentioned here that Kajal and Vijay are pairing up for the first time onscreen and there has been a lot of discussion among the movie buffs about their onscreen chemistry. Well, Vijay’s answer may be a disappointment for many but it is for us to see the final outcome when the film releases.

Billa 2's trailer is mind-blowing

Ganesh Venkatram has said that he got an opportunity to see the sneak peak of Billa 2’s trailer when he met Ajith recently. Not wanting to disclose about what he had seen as per the strong instructions of the filmmakers, Ganesh just said that what he had seen was mind-blowing.

Adding further, Ganesh said that he had great time on the sets of Billa 2 in Mumbai recently with Ajith and director Chakri Toleti.

Billa 2 is gearing up for release on May Day. It stars Ajith, Parvathy Omanakuttan, Bruna Abdullah, Vidyut Jamval and others.

Gautham Menon not bothered about fools

Director Gautham Menon had always maintained that he never bothered about reviews for his films. The director has said on several occasions and even when Ek Deewana Tha was criticized that the reviewers are doing their job and he is doing his. Therefore, there is no need to react to criticisms and accolades.

Even after making such statements, the media continued to lash out at him for the Ek Deewana Tha debacle. To this, Gautham had said that he is a creator and will concentrate in his work. There is no need to worry about fools, Gautham had added.

Sasikumar and Ananya’s Masters First Look !

For the first time Sasikumar has stepped into a film that is out of his production company.

Earlier films like Subramaniapuram, Eesan and the recent Porali are acted-directed-produced under his own production house titled ‘Company Productions’.

Now Sasikumar has stepped out and has entered Malayalam cine industry to accompany with Prithviraj for a powerful role.

Also Piaa Bajpai and Ananya will be seen together and the film is said to be dubbed for Tamil audience. Masters is directed by John Antony and produced by Sarathchandran.

Vetri Selvan First Look Poster!

Vetri Selvan is Ajmal’s forthcoming Tamil film. The film is directed by Vikram Kumar’s associate Rudhran.

Radhika Apte is paired opposite to Ajmal. this is her second third venture in Tamil. Later she was seen paired with Surya in Raktha Charithram and recently in Prakash Raj’s Dhoni.

This will be the actress first solo venture, the film deals with three persons who try to change the society and Vetri Selvan is produced under the banner ‘Shristi Cinemas’

Vijay is not cop in Thuppaki

The Vijay-Kajal Agarwal starrer Thuppaki is currently in its second schedule in Mumbai and important scenes are expected to be canned this month. Actor Jayaram plays an important role in the film as a baddie.

There were rumours that Vijay’s role in the film is that of an encounter specialist. However sources now say that he is not a cop in the film, rather as that of a soldier.

The actor, also a good singer, recently crooned a song for the film.

Rajini's project with KV Anand

Looks like rumors about Rajini’s projects will never die down. The Superstar is yet to begin shooting for his next, Kochadaiyaan, to be directed by his daughter Soundarya and there are reports that he had summoned KV Anand for a story.

Sources say that Rajini beckoned KV Anand and the director had narrated a story to him. It is worth mentioning here that there is a talk about Shankar and KS Ravi Kumar also directing Rajinikanth after Kochadaiyaan.

Meanwhile, let’s wait for the shooting of Kochadaiyaan to begin. It is expected to go on floors during the second week of March and we are almost into it now!

Nayan's condition to star in Ajith's film

There were reports that Nayantara has been roped in to star in Ajith’s film. But when enquired, we came to know that it is not true. It is said that Nayan is not willing to allot bulk dates for this project. She has asked the filmmakers about Ajith’s call sheet for this film and has told them that she would allot her dates in tandem with his call sheet.

The filmmakers are said to be working out the date issues and once this is resolved, there will be an official announcement on this film, say sources in Kollywood.

Nadigar Sangam wishes Stalin

MK Stalin, the former Deputy CM of Tamil Nadu, has been honored with the Kentucky Colonel award. He has been receiving a number of congratulatory messages for the new honor bestowed on him. The Nadigar Sangam also decided to congratulate MK Stalin and have released a statement to this effect.

In the statement, the Sangam extended its wishes and congratulations to Stalin for this achievement. It may be mentioned here that Stalin is an honorary member of the Nadigar Sangam.

Suriya waits for the comedian

Suriya and director Hari are all set to begin their next venture Singam 2 very soon. In Singam, Vivek played the comedian and his antics were well received by the movie buffs.

But for the sequel, Hari and Suriya are set on having Santhanam onboard. Unfortunately, Santhanam does not have adequate dates to offer as he has signed up several projects which need his attention.

But Suriya and Hari have reportedly told the comedian that they would wait for him join the team and would film scenes that don’t require his presence until then.

When Arya was recently questioned about Trisha’s wedding plans, the star is reported to have said that she is not a person to get married anytime soon. Arya stated that Trisha is a very independent person and getting married within the next one year is definitely not on her agenda.
