Shruti Hassan sends legal notice to a magazine
Shruti Hassan is unhappy with a magazine, which reported that something was brewing between Dhanush and the actress. Irked by the rumours, the daughter of Kamal Hassan has sent a legal notice to the publication.
The 7aam Arivu girl says it is a fabricated stuff and the magazine has not got any evidence to prove their claims. It is a complete baseless report for which now the actress has demanded an explanation from the publication.
Shruti Hassan will be taking further action against the magazine if they fail to respond. Meanwhile, the actress believes that her forthcoming movie 3 has come out well and she is eagerly waiting for the release of the movie, which is directed by Aishwarya Dhanush.
Siddharth n Amala Pauls Kadhalil Sodhapuvadu Yeppadi trailor crosses 100000 hits
Actor Siddharth who made a recent Kollywood comeback with the movie Nootrenbadhu has some new talking to do with his next release Kadhalil Sodhapuvadu Yeppadi (KSY).The movie holds it’s inspiration in a short film that was originally directed by newcomer Balaji Mohan in a 10 minute small screen format.
Balaji was lucky to land an offer with the banner Y not studios, taking his creative effort to the next level. Actor Siddharth says, “Y not studios is the reason “Love Failure”& “KSY” happened when I was looking for Balaji Mohan. Thank god!!” The trailer for KSY was released on January 14th welcomed with loads of hits on the online platform. The movie also being made for the Telugu market as Love Failure, stars Siddharth and the cute Amala Paul playing the lead pair. Music composer by S.Thaman is ready to impress with another wonderful album, as the trailer song ‘Parvathi’ is already ringing mobile phones. The official trailer is having a dream run and has Siddharth excited saying, “100000 views on YouTube for ‘Love Failure’ alone …. In two days …. Thank you all …. Cheers”. KSY will be a Valentine’s Day release this February 14th.

Official TRAILER of Kadhalil Sodhapuvadu Yeppadi (Tamil: காதலில் சொதப்புவது எப்படி; English: How To Mess Up In Love) is an upcoming Tamil romantic comedy based on a short film and to be directed by debutant Balaji Mohan. Starring Siddharth and Amala Paul in the lead roles, the film will also be made simultaneously in Telugu as Love Failure. The trailer of the film was released on January 14, stating the release of film on Valentine's Day.
“Thalaiva your great”, says Vijay’s son
Guess what was the reaction of Sanjay, son of Vijay, after watching his father in ‘Nanban’? “Sanjay thoroughly enjoyed the movie and when I got back home, he pulled down his pants and said ‘Thalaiva nee great”, says Vijay.
“I didn’t expect such a reaction from Sanjay. I could not control myself after seeing him pulling his pants down and uttering the line. I was laughing for a long time,” says the Ilayathalapathy, who is on cloud nine.
Meanwhile, sources have it that family members of Jiiva and Srikanth have also watched ‘Nanban’ and were all smiles about the movie. “This shows that the film is a clean family entertainer which could be enjoyed by one and all,” they add.

VADIVELU SAYS HE'LL BE BACK!

Akon to sing in Vijay’s Thuppakki
International singer Akon aka the ‘Chammak Challo’ guy is all set to foray in Kollywood soon. Reportedly he will sing a song in Vijay’s much awaited Thuppakki, directed by A.R. Murugadoss. Harris Jayaraj is the music director and the recording is expected to take place in Chennai soon.

SURIYA AND ANUSHKA BACK IN HARI'S DIRECTION
Director Hari is planning to make a film with Suriya and Anushka in the lead. However, it is not certain if the film will be a sequel for Singam, which was a runaway hit. There were reports just a few days ago that director Hari had a script ready for Suriya but the star was not impressed and declined the offer.
It is now said that Suriya and Anushka have been roped in to star in a film that Hari is to direct and this film will commence sometime in March. By then Suriya would have completed KV Anand’s Matraan.
Yuvan flies to Florida enroute to Hollywood !
Yuvan Shankar Raja on Kannum Pongal day was in Frankfurt airport to catch a connecting flight to Florida in US. Chakri Toleti the director of Billa 2 was in Florida waiting for him to record a title number for the film.
Yuvan before leaving for US had tweeted – “ Recorded three tracks for Billa 2 and have more work on all of them. Still working on the theme track, have one more song to compose.”
There were rumours circulating in social media sites by over enthusiastic fans of the music director that internationally reputed rap singer Pitbull is going to croon for Billa 2. But sources close to Yuvan say that it is mere rumours and nothing more.
Meanwhile Chakri Toleti has added more suspense by tweeting – “ Yuvan on his way. Busy and fun week ahead, Hollywood here we come.”
Ajith joins the million dollar club
The overseas rights for Ajith’s Billa 2 have been bought for a record price of $ 1 million by GK Media, an US-based Tamil film distribution company.
Things are indeed happening at a fast pace on the Billa 2 front.
Ajith, with Billa-2 joins Tamil cinema’s exclusive million dollar club. Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Vijay and Suriya are the other members of this club, where top hero films get $ 1 million plus as overseas rights.
The buzz in overseas trade circles is that Billa 2 was sold for Rs 5.3 Crores($ 1 million), the highest ever for a Ajith film.
It is 30 % more than Mankatha which was sold for approximately for Rs 3.75 Crore.
KOCHADAIYAAN SHOOTING TO BEGIN
The director is currently in Mumbai holding discussions with music director AR Rahman. The shooting of Kochadaiyaan will begin at the Ganesh Temple at the AVM Studio complex.

Vijay-Ileana lip lock in Nanban surprises fans
While Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor shared as many as three lip-locks in 3 Idiots, the original version of Nanban, in the Tamil film, Vijay-Ileana have featured in one kissing sequence. Director Shankar has kept it as a surprising element in the climax of the Kollywood movie. However, it lasts for 50 seconds. As a result, their chemistry have worked big time in the movie.
This is probably for the second time Vijay has done the kissing scene. The 37-year-old shared his first on-screen smooch with Jyothika in blockbuster movie Khushi.
However, Nanban directed by Shankar also stars Jeeva, Srikanth, and Sathyraraj in the important roles. The movie released on January 12 is doing good business at the Tamil Box Office.
Power Star Sreenivasan misses Endhiran
He says that he has nine films waiting for release and Ananda Thollai released for Pongal will not be a competition to Vijay’s Nanban. Well, Vijay fans must certainly be relieved about that!
What will happen to Yohan - Adhyayam Ondru?
Director Gautham Menon is busy directing Nee Thaane En Pon Vasantham with Jiiva and Samantha in the lead. And he is also gearing up to release Ek Deewana Tha, the Hindi version of Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaya. Ek Deewana Tha is expected to release later in February and the post production work is now on.
Sources say that Gautham is planning to shift base to Bollywood as he has some impressive lineup of projects there. If he takes up another Bollywood flick, there are chances that Vijay’s Yohan Adhyayam Ondru may be shelved for the time being, say sources.
I am not bothered about it, says Selvaraghavan
When director Selvaraghavan was asked how he felt with his dream project Mayakkam Enna not getting the response he had expected at the box office, he said the directing films is his work and he is not bothered about the outcome.
Selva said that he makes films out of passion for good cinema and it is for the audiences to decide to see or not to see a film. The outcome of a film at the box office has never bothered me, said Selva who is now concentrating in his next, Irandam Ulagam.
AR RAHMAN JOINS HANDS WITH KAMAL HAASAN!

The youngest Microsoft professional, Arfa Karim passes away at the age of 16 in a Lahore hospital
Arfa fell desperately ill last month and doctors say she has suffered brain damage, leaving her in a coma at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Lahore.
She was suffering from idiopathic epilepsy seizures which led to brain damage.
The medical experts say the epilepsy can be caused by various infectious and non-infectious diseases but in idiopathic epilepsy no underlying disease of the brain or body can be identified in the early or short investigations.
Arfa became the youngest Microsoft professional after completing her MCP in 2004 at the age of only 9.
Upon completing her course, Microsoft owner Bill Gates invited her to visit the company’s headquarters in the US. Software Development Division Vice President Somasegar also acknowledged her achievement in his blog.
Arfa was studying at the Lahore Grammar School`s Paragon Campus for her A Levels. She also received numerous awards and gold medals from private and government institutions for her achievement.
She received the Fatima Jinnah Gold Medal in the field of science and technology in 2005, besides the Salaam Pakistan Youth Award.
