Sruthi Hassan refuses to talk about her affair

Shruti Hassan, who has been linked up with Siddharth, has refused to talk about her love life. The actress has said that she does not feel any need to open up her personal life in public.

Speaking to the Times of India, the multi facet actress said that she can talk on her professional front for hours together, but her personal life is nobody’s business. Recently, it was reported that Siddharth and Shruti Hassan have sought Kamal Hassan’s blessings and have started living together. Her father reportedly approved their love and is happy for them.

However, Shruti Hassan, who is making her Tamil debut with 7 Aum Arivu, has pinned her high hopes on the film. The actress plays the role of a scientist in the film. The movie directed by AR Murugadoss also features Surya in the dual role.

Ismail Darbar indicts ARR not worthy of Oscar!

ARR has never failed to make every Indian feel proud of his music. A couple of years back, his score for Danny Boyle’s film ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ won him the ‘Best Original Music Score’ and ‘Best Original Song’ at the Oscars, making us Indians only even more proud.

But this seems to have stirred another idea for noted music composer, Ismail Darbar.

Ismail Darbar who has contributed great songs to the Bollywood film industry, while speaking to a media firm alleged that A R Rahman bought the Oscar Award by bribing the jury! He expressed that the music of ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ is not worthy of prestigious awards and there is no Oscar material about it.

He added that, other films of Rahman’s were worthy of such awards but definitely not this, and that he is sure that the award has been bought by Rahman.

In response to this, ARR replied in his usual calm fashion that an Oscar cannot be bought since its 3000 people who judge it, and there’s not a way that one can even think of doing such a thing.

Ippadikku Surya Book Release function

 Ippadikku Suriya, a book that spans actor Suriya’s life from childhood, was released at the venue where the Book Fair is taking place this year, St George Anglo-Indian School.

The inauguration was presided over by Solomon Papaiya. Smt Lakshmi Sivakumar released the book and industrialist Subrahmanyam received the first copy.

Well it looks like Tamannah will slip into a two piece for a Telugu film.

Sources in Tollywood reveal that Kajal Agarwal was initially signed up for this project titled 'Ratcha.' There was a scene where Kajal was asked by the director to change into a swim suit, of course for a scene. The actress seems to have refused to do so and chose not to continue to work for the film.

After which, the director seems to have roped in Tamannah for the project, who seems to have happily agreed to do the film as well as don a bikini!

But the actress did have a few conditions before accepting to do the scene. She made it clear that she did not want any still cameras around while doing the scene.

The reason being simple, that is, not to reveal her bikini clad images to dailies as well as in the websites. But if she is so worried about her semi nude pictures getting out then why agree to wear it in the first place? Well the actress recently revealed she was missing Chennai city. She will be seen opposite Dhanush in 'Venghai.' No Tamil script seems to have found its way to Tamannah in a long time now, we wonder why and when it will?

This film features a particular song that got much publicized before showcasing the video clip called ‘Arabu Kuthirai’. It was shot very stylishly from exotic background, where foreign dancers gave their best performances for this item number. ‘Arabu Kuthirai’ has appeared first beating the rest in THR Raaga’s Malaysian Top Ten Hits for continuously 3 times. It is surely one of the spotlights of this film.

Thandhava is an anticipated film, more so because of the coming together of two classy Malaysian Tamil film personality-Ravi Maraz and Vassan. It is a crime thriller that is first of its kind in the Malaysian Indian film industry to shine out as a mass entertainer of the year!
