Udhayanidhi Stalin, post the success of Oru Kal Oru Kannadi wanted to team up with director M Rajesh once again. He also expressed his wish regarding the same to him. However, the director has other plans that would keep him busy for the next one year.

He had reportedly told Udhayanidhi that working together again would become stereotypical and therefore to find himself another director. Following this, the producer-turned-actor is looking for a suitable director to direct him.
