The long wait for Karthika after the stupendous success of Ko seems to be over. She has finally signed two new films in Telugu and Tamil respectively. Karthika has been roped in to play the key role in NTR’s Dammu, where she is sharing screen space with Trisha.
Now she has also been roped in to play the pivotal lead in Bharathiraja’s Annakodiyum Kodiveeranum, which has Parthipan in the male lead along with Iniya and Easwri Rao. The grapevine had it that all these days Karthika was waiting to do a big hero film opposite a top star in Tamil. But it did not happen even though her Ko is a super hit.
Karthika’s mother yester year glam heroine Radha who is looking after her daughters career confirmed that Karthika is doing Annakodiyum Kodiveeranum, to be directed by her mentor Bharathiraja.
