Nayantara was the heroine in the Suriya starrer Aadhavan and Arya starrer Boss Engira Bhaskaran. Both these films were produced by Udayanidhi Stalin’s Red Giant Movies. So, when the producer decided to make his debut as hero there were strong speculations that Nayan would play the female lead in it. But the role eventually went to Hansika.
Talking about Nayan, Udayanidhi had said that when he was working with her in the abovementioned films; he had asked her if she would pair up with him if an opportunity arises. To this, the actress had replied that she is planning to quit the film industry and so such an opportunity might never present itself.
