Photographs of the grand welcome for superstar Rajinikanth who has reached Malaysia to shoot for his next film Kabali directed by Ranjith, are splattered all over the internet.
Rajini was welcomed by the governor of Malacca (a state in Malaysia) Governor Mohammed Khalil bin Yaakob on Tuesday.
According to reports, Mohammed Khalil bin Yaakob had organised a special lunch for the Tamil superstar and producer Kalaipuli S Dhanu.
For Mohd Khalil, it was the first time he got up close and personal with the acting legend.
"I have been a fan of him since his Tamil movie Muthu made debut in the 1990s," Mohd Khalil said. Mohd Khalil also declared himself an ardent fan of Tamil movies and that Rajini has captured his heart.
